Scilly Today reported plans for a public meeting in St Mary's on 30 Oct to raise awareness of new medical transport arrangements following the end of the helicopter service on 31 Oct.

The event will highlight the work done by the NHS, Council of the Isles of Scilly, Isles of Scilly Steamship Company and LINk4Scilly to ensure the healthcare needs of patients continue to be met.

The event is taking place on 30th October and is open to everyone. It’s being held at the Wesleyan Chapel from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Access by boat is available and you can contact Aisling Hick on 424034 for more details.
