Request for ‘call in’ of Heliport plans thrown out by SofS

The Penzance Heliport planning application is not going to be ‘called in’ by the Secretary of State despite an anonymous request that the SofS should do so.   Cornwall Council was advised by letter dated 8 March (download here) that the SofS was “content that it should be determined by the local planning authority”. The decision clears the remaining obstacle to the project proceeding.

See Scilly Today news item on the decision here .
