Western Power Distribution’s plans for putting overhead
power cables underground on the proposed Penzance Heliport site have been
signed off by Cornwall Council. The work is
exempt from requiring planning permission but WPD went through the motions with
Cornwall Council to confirm this. The
planning application ref is PA17/12207 and the letter from Cornwall Council can
be viewed here. The application
