Sunday flying has picked up 54 reader's comments. The debate has morphed into a debate about
the future of the tourism industry and the the islands
themselves.
There is a
brutal but convincingly argued assessment of the options in a comment from ‘Peter’ (July 31, 2013 at 11.42).
Dick Cliffe, Penzance Chamber of Commerce
Chairman and FRIST’s Penzance Coordinator commented on the debate: “The
islands seem to on course for Option 1 (Go for the high-end tourism with even
fewer numbers than now) but there seems to have been limited debate about it despite
the implications for the community."
